…to Mahnaz and Henk. Both of them belong to our great network in Deventer (the Netherlands). Henk is an experienced community manager and pulls the local team together.

When we walked (and cycled) through town with him we felt like he knew everyone in Deventer! Mahnaz, on the other hand, is an experienced cook. Building on her Iranian roots, she successfully set up a Persian catering service when she came to the Netherlands almost ten years ago… and she is convinced that cooking and eating is a great way to interact and get to know each other.

Besides these two wonderful supporters there is a dedicated team of volunteers, most of them experienced in various fields through a long-term commitment to Deventer’s well-established Volunteer centre, the so called Vrijwilligers Centrale or the local Vluchtelingenwerk.
